European Leaders Greet Hias Decision to Extend Jewish Emigration Work

The decision of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society of America to extend its activities to assist Jewish emigrants to South American countries and Palestine was welcomed here with great satisfaction by leading Jewish circles.

The meeting of the Central Council of the Emigdirekt, the Jewish emigration aid society, which his acting as the agency of the Hias in Europe was convoked for the purpose of preparing a detailed plan of work.
