The Jewish back to the land movement in Germany was given stronger impetus in literature issued by the Union of Jewish. ex-soldiers in the German army.
In a pamphlet issued by the Union the idea of settling young Jews on the land is propagated. The movement is supported by Prof. Franz Oppenheimer, Dr. Timendorfer, former president of the I. O. B. B. Lodge in Berlin, and by Rudolf Messe prominent German publisher.
“There will be no room for anti-Semitism when Jews work on the land by the sweat of their brow,” Mr. Mosse declares.
