Eugene Meyer, former Commissioner of the United States Farm Loan Board, who has just resigned from that post, receiving the praise of President Hoover, is slated as the United States Ambassador to Germany, according to a report in the Berlin press. The newspapers comment favorably on the forthcoming appointment, which they state is to be made soon.
