Berlin Enthusiastic over First Performance of Habima Troup

The first of Habima’s performances here opened at the Lessing. Theatre, “The Star of David” being the attraction. It was received enthusiastically by a large audience. A message from Thomas Manu, the author, greeted the actors, saying he had seen them play “The Dybbuk,” of which he understood only two words yet he had enjoyed the entire performance, so excellent was the acting Present at the performance were Max Warburg. Prof. Ludwig Stein and Bernard Kahn.
