Adopting the slogan of “rights go hand in hand with responsibilities,” the women of the Jewish colony of Petach Tikvah, one of the oldest in Palestine, have strongly protested against the disfranchisement in the elections for the local council. The Equal Rights Association of Palestine is supporting the women of Petach Tikvah.
