Following out the suggestions made in a recent letter by Harry Snell, Labor member of Parliament and of the Palestine Inquiry Commission, the Brith Shalom Society today decided to establish restricted seminars in a number of subjects with a view of establishing closer relationships between Jews and Arabs.
The seminars will offer study courses in Palestine politics, Jewish colonization and Arab cultivation, health and educational development among Jews and Arabs, self-governing institutions, bi-national government, a practical scheme for the improvement of Arab-Jewish relations and the history of the Arab national movement.
In a recently published letter Mr. Snell suggested the establishment of bi-national committees of Jews and Arabs in all towns and villages in Palestine where the two peoples live as a step toward mutual self respect and good will.
