A $250,000 gift to the Boy Scouts of America by Mrs. Jacob Schiff in memory of her late son, Mortimer Schiff, president of the organization, has enabled the Scout body to acquire 480 acres of land near Morristown, N. J. to be developed as a permanent reservation for the 2,000,000 Scouts throughout the world.

Of the $250,000, only $150,000 will be spent for the purchase of the land and buildings and the remainder for the maintenance of the site, Mrs. Schiff stipulated in her gift.
