The Riga Municipality voted a considerable decrease in the subventions to Jewish institutions.
The subsidy for Jewish institutions was set at 53,760 lats, which represents a reduction of 25 percent as compared with last year’s subvention.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
