Jews in the province of East Prussia have been informed by the local authorities that mail addressed to them will no longer be delivered. Nazi postmen will therefore not have to be humiliated by serving Jews.
Instead, Jewish residents will have to call at the postoffice personally, after six o’clock in the evening, when there is no danger that they can mingle with Aryans. This arrangement is already popularly known as the “Judenpost.”
Jewish parents throughout East Prussia are being compelled to withdraw their children from the public schools because the Christian children are unwilling to share their benches with them and because of the insulting behavior of the teachers. It has become a popular pastime among Nazi school-teachers to confront classes in which there are Jewish children with such questions as “What is the difference between a human being and a Jew?”
Rather than have their children constantly insulted and humiliated by being asked such questions, Jewish parents in large numbers are withdrawing their children from the schools and in many cases, for want of another school to send them, where they will receive better treatment, are keeping them at home.
