Further tightening of the regulations against the Jewish doctors was announced yesterday by Medical Commissar Wagner. The new regulations prohibit Jewish doctors from replacing Aryan doctors as substitutes or vice versa. Aryan doctors are forbidden to send Jewish doctors to their patients and Jewish doctors are not to send Aryans to Jewish patients. Again Aryan doctors are prohibited from calling Jewish doctors into consultations and similarly, Jewish doctors must not invite non-Jews into consultations.

The commissar also announced that within a short time the sick fund societies will publish a complete list of all panel doctors, stating clearly who of them are Aryans and who are Jews. Thus the patients will be able to choose for themselves the doctor they prefer. The announcement stated that patients desiring to leave Jewish doctors for Aryans would receive new sick fund cards without any charge.
