A warning against any attempt to exhibit foreign-made films in which “fremdrassige” (alien race people, particularly designating Jews) participate was made by the president of the film exhibitors conference.

The German public, he declared, “will know how to differentiate in their choice.” He also warned strongly against the exhibition of films in which Jewish artists or composers are shown.

The warning by the president of the film exhibitors follows closely upon a threatening article in the Filmbau, organ of the German film industry, in which the German producers were warned not to attempt to make films in which German-Jewish artists or technicians had any share.
