The C. V. Zeitung, official organ of the Central Union of German Jews, was prohibited from publishing today by the police until September 2. Following the secret police’s suspension of the Judische Rundschau last week, the C. V. Zeitung was the only Jewish publication continuing in Berlin. No reason was given for the suspension. The Rundschau was suspended for answering an attack on the Zionist Congress by Alfred Rosenberg in the Voelkischer Beobachter.
