Bulgarian Jews Select Envoy for Minority Congress

The President of the Jewish Community in Bulgaria, Haim Farchi, has been appointed by the Jewish Community to represent the Jewish minority of Bulgaria at the ninth congress of organized minority groups of Europe which will meet in Berne between September 14 and 16. Bulgarian Jewry has taken the opportunity of the meeting of the European Democratic Entente, which has just taken place at Sofia, in order to submit memoranda to the various delegations on the Jewish situation in Germany and delegations from the community have paid personal visits to the French and English delegations in particular, thanking them for the attitude taken up in their countries towards the treatment of Jews in Germany.
