A reception will be tendered to Herman Bernstein, editor of the Jewish Daily Bulletin towmorow evening at the Jewis Club, 23 West 73rd street, to mark the fortieth annuversary of Mr. Bernstein’s immigration to the United States. A book of letters of tribute to him written by notable men and women, leaders in the world of letters, polltics and public service, will be presented to Mr. Bernstein on this occasion
BRONX HEBREW SCHOLARS UNITE
In a concentrated drive tp increase the number of students in Talmud Torashs, nine Bronx Hebrew schools teaching 3,275 children have united under one banner, the Bronx associate Hebrow Schools.
the new organization is to establish a uniform curriculum and to create inter-school activities.
The schools are the Bronx Jewish center, Bronx Y.M.H.A., He brew institute of University Heights, Jewish Center of University Heights, Kehilath Israel Talmud Torah, Mosholu Jewihs Center, Mt. Eden Center, Schiff Center, and the Tremont Talmud Torah.
WILL TALK ON ‘THREE CITIES’
Rabbi Henry Fisher of Congregation Derech Emunoh, Arvernce, L. I., will review Sholom Asch’s ”Three Cities” before the monthly cultural meeting of the Jewish Center of Jackson Heights on Wednesday, Feb. 28. The meeting is under the joint auspices of the wich Harry Mr. Rubin and Ella Rubin are the respective spresidents.

Feit. Dr. F. N. Glasseron was indueted as president of the Men’s Club.
