”Stop look and listen,” cantions, look and listen,” cautions Mrs. Annie Meyer, founder nad senior tustee of Brarriard College, who celebrates her sixty-seventh birthday today. A mellow woman, with many years of good work behind her, she offers this borthday message to the Jew all over the world.

Says she: ”Stop, look and listen, before you do anything, Eveyone of us ought to bear a sense of responsibility upon ourselves in all our actions. Anything wrong that we do, hurts so many others. Let a Jew in office transgreess by a hair’s breadth, and the world cries, ‘Behold what you get for electing a Jew.

”The Jews of the whole world are on trial. Let us therfore guard our behavior well, so that it may be beyond criticism.”

A keen, bright-eyed little lady, while-haired and brisk of meanner, she talks in cold, clipped seentences. Her ”work-shop” or study is an excellent reflection of her drivers personality. Books smother her antique desk, they cover the green painted walls, and pictures from ennent men and woment in all walks of life, decorate every available space in the room. Still it has her feminine reflection in the bright chintz draperies on the windows, and the lovely spring flowers in profusion on table and desk.
