As reported in the Jewish Daily Bulletin, Governor Murray of Okiahoma has de_ nounced the Silver Shirts as ”a secret political organization, vicious in method”, explaning that he did not approve of secret political organizatoins ”in this Republic of ours where freedom of race, cults, principles and religions are guaranted by the Constitution.”
Such secret political organizations, especially if they are directed and subsidized by aliens in behalf, of foreingn ant-American interests, are a distinct meance to this country. These organization only as long as they remain secret, as long as their motives and purposes are shrouded by the veil of anonymity. As soon as the socalled leaders of these secret organization are revealed. as soon as their activitives and machinations become known to the publice they are discreditd. For their puposes are mercenary. They are nothing else than propaganda racketeers, troublebreeders for revenue only. But Hilerist Germany, pleading poverty to ther legitimate creditors and benefactors apparently has plenty of money for secret destrudtive agitation in this country.
