Harford Rabbi on Nra Board of Adjustment

Rabbi Abraham J. FEldman of Temple Beth Israel will be appointed by President Roosevelt a chairman of the connecticut NRA Adjustment Board, according to William S. Meany, state dicector of the National Emergency Council. The selection is expected to be announced within a few days.

As chairman of this board, Rabbi. Feldman will represent the public. The board will serve in an advisory capacity to the NEC and probems concering NRA codes will be referren to it. Although without power to make decisions, it will submit recommendations to the NEC director.

The choice of Rabbi Feldman as chairman was made by the other two members. William F. Steinmiller, president of the Hartford Central Labor Union, and vice-president of the Connecticut Federation fo Labor, and D. Hayes Murphy, president and treasurer of the Wiremold company of this city. Notified of his nomination by the two members. Rabbi Feldman signified be would accept the post.
