Evidence was produced at today’s session of the trial of seven Zionist Revisionist leaders, including Aba Achimeier, who are charged with advocating and encouraging the overthrow of the Palestine government, purporting to show that Achimeier had been in search for a “Mussolini for the Holy Land.”

The trial is being held in the Jaffa District Court which has become a focal point for the eyes of Jalestine’s Jews, who are not a little concerned over the outcome of the proceedings.

A police officer who was on the witness stand during today’s hearing testified that a letter had been found at the home of one of the Revisionists reading in part:

“The Jews need a Mussolini, and Achimeier is looking for such an individual.”

The Revisionist whose name is mentioned was cleared of complicity in the murder of Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff, labor leader, who was shot on the seashore at Tel Aviv on the night of June 16, 1933. Freed with Achimeier was Zvi Rosenblatt, another Revisionist. Abraham Stavsky, another member of the party, was convicted of complicity in the slaying.
