Palestine press reports that the Emir Abdullah of Transjordania, now en route to England, may bring up the question of extending his jurisdiction by dividing the Holy Land into cantons, which would be distributed among Jews and Arabs, is discredited by the Doar Hayom, Hebrew daily, today.
The paper declares that such a hope on the part of the Emir let alone reports of his plans, are impossible.
