In response to a large demand throughout the country, Jacques Shapiro, manager of the Wine Growers Cooperative of Palestine, yesterday announced plans have been completed for the distribution and sale of Palestine wine in America on an elaborate scale. Mr. Shapiro, who recently left for Europe after a visit of two weeks in the United States, represents the interests of Baron Rothschild, who has been actively instrumental in developing the wine industry in the Holy Land.

Distribution in America will be under the supervision of Harry Mottsman, executive vice-president of the Distillers and Brewers Corporation of America.

Among those who cooperated in the distribution of Palestine wine were Robert Szold, Nathan Straus, Jr., Israel B. Brodie, Morris Rothenberg, president of the Zionist Organization of America.
