In recognition of his three years of sectarian community civic service, Rabbi Frederic A. Doppelt of Temple Beth-El was feted yesterday by Christian ministers of this city. The reception also celebrated the announcement that he has accepted a call to the pulpit of Temple B’Nai Israel at Elmira, N. Y. He will assume his new duties September 1.
Besides performing his rabbinical functions here Rabbi Doppelt also lectured before clubs and groups under the auspices of the Y. M. C. A. and Salvation Army here.
