Lehman Urges Faiths Observe ‘loyalty Days’

Governor Lehman on Friday issued a statement urging Jews, Protestants and Catholics to observe October 6 and 7 as Loyalty Days by attending synagogues and churches. The advice was contained in a letter to Walter W. Head, chairman of the National Committee for Religion and Welfare Recovery, which is sponsoring a backto-church movement.
