Jewish university students, whose careers are endangered by high matriculation fees, vainly besieged the offices of the Jewish community today asking for a subsidy to enable them to continue their studies. They also surrounded the home of Dr. M. Kruk, president of the community.

Similar scenes were recently enacted in Warsaw when almost 1,000 Jewish students took possession of the Jewish community offices demanding financial help
