Bulletin Moves
Two Arab newspapers were suspended today by order of the authorities for three months each for leading a vigorous anti-Jewish campaign and charging that Jews are acquiring arms and munitions in Palestine. The papers are Al-Wahda, a daily, and Al-Shabab, a weekly.
The Arab drive against Jews has assumed serious proportions during the last week. Threatening letters have been sent to every Arab land owner warning him that he will be killed if he sells his land to Jews. The government is taking measures to investigate the threats and to establish their source.
Several Arabs were arrested in Nablus today for possessing German rifles. It is assumed that the threatening letters are spread from Nablus, headquarters of the Arab Youth Federation which is engaged in conducting propaganda against Jews.
