Hebrew Poet En Route to Helsingfors Fete

Dr. Saul Tchernichowsky, the famous Hebrew poet, arrived here yesterday on his way to Helsingfors where he will attend the 1,000 years celebration of the Kalevala poem, which is the national Finnish saga.

Dr. Tchernichowsky being the Hebrew translator of that poem was invited to participate in the celebration by the Finnish government which has conferred the Finnish Order of the White Rose upon him.
