A substantial increase in the income of the Jewish National Fund for this region was announced at the fund’s annual donor dinner here last night which was attended by 400 persons, representing fifteen neighboring communities. The dinner was addressed by Dr. M. B. Lichtenstein and Dr. S. Mallin, president of the Pittsburgh region. M. L. Avner was chairman. Other speakers included Judge Benjamin Iencher, I. A. Swiss and Maurice Samuel. The sum of $2,000 was raised.
