Three more Mohammedans were each sentenced today to seven years at hard labor, as guilty in the Constantine pogrom last August.

The total of those sentenced for complicity in the riots now numbers nine. Two of the group on trial today were acquitted.

The anti-Jewish pogroms in Algeria last August were a subject of grave concern to the French Administration. A number of Jews were killed. Among the victims were women and children. The pogrom lasted for several days.
