Not a single Jew is employed by a German newspaper, Herr Weiss, head of the German Press Union, announced today at a conference of German journalists.

He said that at least 1,300 Jewish and Marxist writers have been discharged since the Nazi revolution in 1933. Jews who were allowed to retain their positions during the “transition period” because of war service, were excluded last year, Weiss declared.
