Warsaw schools and colleges opened today after a police round-up of anti-Semitic leaders brought to an end the wave of anti-Semitic rioting in the past few weeks which forced the schools to shut their doors.
There were no disorders as Jewish students resumed their places in classrooms and laboratories. At Warsaw University, the Polytechnicum, the School of Commerce and the Agricultural School the rectors appealed to the student bodies to preserve order.
A conference of Jewish students adopted a resolution vigorously protesting the recent riots and calling upon the Jewish public to aid Jewish students to carry on their studies.
