THREE THOUSAND ARAB WORKERS ENGAGED IN BUILDING AN IMPORTANT STRATEGIC ROAD ALONG THE NORTHERN BOUNDARY OF PALESTINE DECLARED A STRIKE TODAY.

THE SON OF THE SHEIKHOF BIRZA, A VILLAGE NEAR ACRE, WAS SHOT AND INSTANTLY KILLED BY POLICE FOR THREATENING WITH A REVOLVER A POLICE PATROL WHICH WAS CARRYING ON A SEARCH IN THE VILLAGE.
