Palestine Jewish leaders considered’ today plans for aiding Jews Forced out of Austria by the Nazi regime, while the swastika flag was unfurled by the Austrian consulate here. Among plans considered was the advisability of sending a delegation to the United States to raise funds for the rescue of Austrian Jews, and also the possibilities of facilitating their immigration into the Holy land by an arrangement with Austria similar to that in effect with Germany, under which Jewish emigrants are permitted to withdraw part of their capital as goods.

The plight of the Austrian Jews apposed great concern in the Jewish community here, particularly among the 7,000 Jews of Austrian origin.
