The official German Jews Agency, D.N.B., today denied reports that Schacht during his stay in London discussed a plan whereby Britain would finance the emigration of Jews. “informed circles at London said the only aim of the Schacht visit was to re-establish personal contact between Schacht and the Governor of the Bank of England (Montagu Norman),” D.N.B. said.
