Nazis Reported Reducing Rothschild Ransom Demand

The Evening Standard reported today that the Nazis have reduced the ransom set for Baron Louis de Rothschild’s release from $10,000,000 to $2,500,000. The Baron, head of the Austrian branch of the famous banking family, has been imprisoned in Vienna since Anschluss last March.
