New Restrictions on Jews in Provinces

Jews have been forbidden to take up residence in the Upper Bavarian city of Wuerzburg. Those seeking to visit or pass through the city must obtain special permission from the local police.

The Carlsbad authorities have cancelled a contract under which for 70 years the Jewish firm of Leibel Schottlander has handled all export of the resort’s famous waters. The export business henceforth will be operated as a municipal enterprise.

The Munich police president banned Jews from participating in the famous Winter carnivals and masquerade balls here.
