Resolutions condemning racism and anti-Semitism were among those adopted here yesterday at the closing session of the convention of the National Catholic Alumni Federation. The resolutions, in which discrimination against the Negro was especially denounced, pointed out that racism had been “expressly repudiated” by the Catholic Church on many occasions.

CORRECTION

Due to an error in telephonic transmission, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency on Oct. 26 (JTA NEWS OCT. 27) incorrectly reported from Washington that the Intergovernmental Committee on Refugees had included Palestine in a recommendation for new surveys of overseas countries. Palestine was not specified in the recommendation, nor was it referred to in the official communique issued at the close of the conference by the committee.
