Every German diplomatic representative abroad is a regional commander of a certain part of the worldwide Nazi fifth column, Werner Guttmann, a German researcher who is becoming a United States citizen, declares in an exhaustive review of Nazi fifth column organizations published in the current Survey Graphic.

The German Embassy , which includes representatives of all departments of the Ministry of Propaganda, the Gestapo and the Ribbentrop information bureau, assumes the position of central office for fifth column activities in each country, the writer says.

“If , in case of war , the German diplomatic corps must leave the country, the ‘Stuetzpunkte’ (support points) assume command ,” he says. “There are several thousand of these support points all over every continent in the world , and all of them are located near strategic points.”
