Italians Raid Haifa Again; No Damage, British Report

The Italian air raid on this port city yesterday did not inflict any casualties or damage, it was officially announced today .

Accurate and intense anti -aircraft fire harried the raiders and caused them to drop their bombs in waste land. The populace maintained calm, many persons watching the action from rooftops. The attack was the ninth carried out against the city.

(An Italian communique issued at Rome claimed today that the Haifa oil depot was bombed and military stores, railways and a submarine base were damaged.)
