An Air Cadet Flight Corps, composed of Jewish youth who desire to receive preliminary training in aeronautics has been organized here under the sponsorship of the War Service Committee of the B’nai B’rith. Known as the Maccabee Flight of the Air Cadet Corps the group is expected to receive its charter shortly.

The Cadet Corps, which has a membership of about thirty boys from fifteen to eighteen years old, is commanded by Hertram Loeb, a recent graduate of New York University. The cadets will receive two nights of drill each week and will make actual studies at the local airport.
