The effect of the national defense program on the economic status of Jews in America will be considered at a Conference of Jewish Economic Adjustment on Sunday. The meeting, sponsored by the Jewish Occupational Council, will take place at the auditorium of the Society for the Advancement of Judaism, New York.

The Conference will be addressed by official representatives of Government offices dealing with labor and employment problems. Some of the sessions will be closed to the public.

The Jewish Occupational Council, which is the national research and service agency for all Jewish organizations conducting economic adjustment programs, is calling this conference in order to acquaint Jewish communities and organizations with the scope of Jewish economic and vocational services.
