Cuba has admited all the refugees that it has been able to absorb, President Fulgencio Batista told a press conference today. He added that visa and citizenship applications were suspended last summer as a defense measure and remain suspended.

President Batista refused to estimate the number of refugees in Cuba. A small proportion of refugees remain interned at the immigration station of Triscornia, on the Isle of Pines, and elsewhere, Cuban officials here said.
