The close contact maintained between leaders of American and British Jewry and the ideals they have in common are stressed in a message addressed to American Jewry today by the Lord Mayor of London, Sir Samuel G. Joseph.

Sir Samuel paid tribute to the friendship uniting America and Great Britain before and during the war, pointing out that “the ideals for which Judaism stands, which include obedience to God, loyalty to one’s country, and the recognition of the true brotherhood of men, are ideals for which America and Great Britain are fighting.”
