Three years of Nazi atrocities against Jews have dulled the minds of men, the London Express, influential daily newspaper, says in an editorial today. The paper declares that the civilized world should be aroused by the mass-slaughter of Jews in Kharkov. “We have a duty to punish and avenge,” the article says.

Two-hundred and seventy members of Parliament have indicated their support of the motion introduced in the House of Commons recently, asking the British Government to take immediate action to save the Jews in Europe from extermination, it was disclosed today by Prof. A.V. Hill, Conservative M.P., who is one of the leaders of the drive to secure aid for the Jews. At the same time Prof. Hill pointed out that if all the refugees able to immigrate to Britain were admitted, the total Jewish population of the country would still not comprise one percent of the entire population.
