Jewish War Veterans Open $350,000 Drive to Replace Meyer Levin’s Bomber

Members of the Jewish War Veterans raised $75,000 yesterday in the first two hours of their War Bond drive for $350,000 to replace the bomber on which Sergeant Meyer Levin, Jewish hero, lost his life when the plane crashed into the sea near Port Moresby, New Guinea.
