German soldiers this week broke into a synagogue in Brussels, Belgium, and ,threatening the caretaker with their revolvers, set the building afire, it was reported in Belgian circles here today. Considerable damage was caused but no casualties, since the Nazis invaded the synagogue late in the evening when no worshippers were present.
