The Palestine Red Mogen David organization has contacted the British and International Red Cross in an effort to convert the organization into an international Jewish Red Cross, it was learned here today. The chief function of the new organization will be to accompany the Red Cross into liberated territories in order to extend assistance to the remnants of European Jewry.

Special cadres of physicians, nurses, and mobile hospitals and supplies are being assembled for use in Europe. Personnel to staff the hospitals and field units will be selected from among the Jewish refugees here who are qualified and who speak the language of the countries in which the Mogen David will operate. Heretofore, the organization has only functioned locally with volunteer medical help.
