Seven Arab infiltrates were killed and a score were captured in four clashes last week between marauding bands and Israeli border units, a military spokesman announced today.
Davar, the pro-government newspaper, today attacked Gen, Bennett de Ridder, United Nations chairman of the Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission, for “using his powers to prevent Israeli actions against infiltration.” After detailing the case against Gen. de Bidder, the newspaper suggests that Israel authorities consider whether to continue regarding Gen. de Ridder as a UN representative.
