Launching of a three-year campaign to provide 100 additional beds needed for victims of cancer, tuberculosis and other disabling diseases has been announced here on behalf of the American Medical Center, formerly known as the Jewish Consumptive Relief Society. The announcement was made by Rep. James Roosevelt, of California, chairman of the Center’s national development committee.
