An additional grant of $50, 000 for the Wurzweiler library at Bar-Ilan University in Ramat-Gan was announced today by Rabbi Joseph H. Lookstein, president of the Board of Governors of the University. The grant was in addition to the previous $250, 000 grant for the library by the Wurzweiler Foundation.

It was also announced at a meeting of the Board of Trustees for Bar-Ilan, that the university has decided to convert a portion of the newly built Detroit Dormitories into temporary study halls due to the pressure of 200 students seeking admission to the university.

Phillip Stollman, a Detroit Jewish leader and president of the Board of Trustees, stated that he was glad that the Detroit Dormitories could be utilized as temporary study halls by the university, until new buildings are ready. He said that as a builder himself, he was amazed at the speed of the building program at Bar-Ilan.
