Gary Rosenthal, 35, former Long Island University soccer coach, has been named coach of the soccer team representing the United States in the Maccabiah Games to be held in Israel July 28-Aug. 7.
Mr. Rosenthal, currently dean of students at LIU, coached the university’s soccer teams from 1957-1965. His teams qualified for the National Collegiate Athletic Association soccer tournament in 1963, 1964 and 1965.
