Israeli Envoy to Holland Pays Tribute to Families Who Saved Hundreds of Jews

Israeli Ambassador Shimshon Arad paid homage here to 11 Dutchmen and their wives who saved hundreds of Dutch Jews during World War II by hiding them in their houses at great personal risk. The 11 were given certificates and medals of the Yad Vashem, the Holocaust memorial authority, in Jerusalem.
